Alfred E. Guy Jr. ( New York, NY USA ) Is not equal to an Apple brand battery.
Simply put, this battery has never lasted as long as my original powerbook battery. In fact, my 1.5 year old Apple lasts 3 hours; this one has never made it that far. In the future, I'll pay the extra and get the Apple.

This item came quickly and was exactly as promised. Fit perfectly into my black macbook, and started to charge immediately. According to System Profiler, it was on its first charge cycle. Battery even includes LCD lights on the back to indicate charge level. Great deal, especially compared to Apple's price.

Joey Huddleston Travelling with the laptop again
My macbook battery had a good run: 2.5 years. But I needed a replacement and I didn't want to spend 130 bucks from apple. Brilliant Store had one for 90 and it does the job. I'm back to being able to go a few hours without a charge.

R. Keith ( Wisconsin ) Perfect Apple Battery
This is the exact same Apple brand battery that comes in stores for $120. I used the program Coconut Battery to test it and it had only three load cycles used and was beyond the supposed original capacity of the battery. This is a perfect replacement battery for the black macbook.
