should have ordered this long ago
For $28 I quadrupled the memory in my 2006 iMac to 2GB. That's good bang for the buck.

Bit of a Hassle to Install, But Effective
The rumors are true -- these little guys can be a pain to install. It took three tries, repeatedly cracking open the iMac and shoving them as hard as I could to into the RAM slots and then resealing the computer, to finally get the computer to recognize them, but once they were in and operational, they rocked my computer's face off.

straight forward upgrade
I bought this to upgrade a 2.0ghz duo core iMac. This machine has been running as it should since the upgrade. I also like the peace of mind knowing that this paired set keeps both channels equal. When I was looking for memory for this machine, and I came across this - the price was very reasonable especially considering the knowledge these were paired especially for Apple's iMac.

works great-great value
This was quite simple to install, as described before you must be sure to push the cards well into slots, when first installed the MacBook did not run (blinking light kept blinking signaling the Mac did not start up) after reading this is common the solution was to be sure Cards are well placed in their slot. Its true you almost have to feel pain on the finger pushing the card well into position. Other than this, it performed as described with no trouble, Mac ran faster smoother with no slow down when running multiple applications. Great Item.

Its memory - what can you say?
Did the job -Kingston are normally a reliable brand though the test of time awaits.
However I now i wish i'd bought the 4GB kit instead of the 2.
Even the older intel iMac's need the extra if you're playing with photo's or video.
Beware ex-PC users installing the memory on your iMac isn't as strait forward as a PC. Thought i'd broken it there for a while. They don't show you that when you stick it in - you need to use the "clips" at the sides to push it in the last 1/2 cm or so otherwise the clips won't fit in beside the boards.
